Scholarship Fund

The Lisa Michaels Scholarship Fund was created in 2019 as a way to honor Lisa’s memory. While stenographic reporters could find no greater advocate than Lisa, her singular passion was working with students. In addition to devoting her time to visiting and helping schools, Lisa mentored many students, allowing them to intern and learn about the day-to-day workings of her firm and sit out in depositions with its reporters. She always made time to meet with students that needed advice or encouragement. The purpose of the fund is to help defray the costs of tuition, equipment, and conference attendance for qualified students.
